Before we dive in, note that you shouldn’t just limit yourself to these four.
Use this list to get your mind thinking outside of the box about how companies can pivot their efforts to reach the masses.
1) Mental Wellness Companies
In a time of such uncertainty, anxiety and fear rank high in the feelings category. People may or may not realize that they need some guidance or that help is even out there.
Mental wellness companies have begun offering free or lower-priced services through their websites and apps to help those who need it.
App companies like Calm and Headspace are creating content specifically for the Coronavirus issues and all that comes along with it.
BetterHelp, an online therapy service, has also been putting out content on their blog surrounding the pandemic.
They need your help to get the word out.
Pitch to companies like these, and offer blog topics that people will want to click on, especially posts relevant to the pandemic.

2. At-home fitness solutions
Gyms have been shut down.
Finding a new way to exercise from home is imperative to the physical and mental health of so many people in this world.
So, fitness companies have become more creative than ever by ramping up their virtual classes and offering them for free or reduced fees.
…And they desperately need content!
Companies like Daily Burn and Beachbody On Demand have blogs that are regularly updated. Help them add more!
Peleton has posted three blog posts in one week.
From blog posts to Facebook Ads promoting their new workout-from-home programs, companies like these are ramping up their content output more than ever before.
3. B2B companies in Industries like Finance and Real Estate
Businesses around the world are looking for ways to increase their revenue with this pivot into a completely digital world.
For many B2B companies, they are the answer those struggling businesses are looking for.
For example, BiggerPockets is a real estate blog that provides helpful tips for property managers, and they’ve been putting out blog content about the effects of Coronavirus pandemic on the real estate industry.
(Note: Biggerpockets also offers B2C advice on their blog, including personal finance tips! So don’t feel like you have to limit yourself to B2B. Just think about how you can pivot within your niche to create content relevant to the current world situation!)
People are looking for answers.
Help your clients provide those answers via their content.
4. Remote Work Software Companies
The shift to a fully remote world may seem like a foreign language to some businesses.
Right now, they’re asking themselves:
“Where do we start? What tools should we use? What do we even need?”
Luckily, there are many companies out there that are here to help make their lives easier.
Whether they provide team management, virtual conference calls, or complete remote work access for all employees, these companies exist and they are booming.
For example, Zoom, a virtual conference call company, has posted on their blog everyday in the last week (at the time of writing this blog post).
Their blogs range from answering remote work questions, to creating company culture in a virtual environment.
…Super relevant right now!
These are the topics people are searching for. So pitch, pitch, and pitch some more!
These types of companies are going to be doubling down on their marketing in light of current events because so many people are working from home.
They will continue to be the companies looked at to answer questions by businesses across the world.
They need your help creating content. Be helpful!
